Whether you’re a developer who wants to give content editors a powerful, flexible experience, or a site builder looking to level up your layout toolkit, this workshop will take you from Canvas curious to Canvas confident.

What We’ll Cover

We’ll kick things off by building Single Directory Components (SDCs) purpose-built for Drupal Canvas. From there, you’ll learn how to author Code Components that unlock custom logic and interactivity directly inside the Canvas editor.

Not everything has to be custom — we’ll also explore how to bring your existing Drupal blocks into Canvas layouts, so the work you’ve already done doesn’t go to waste. You’ll survey the design libraries available for Canvas and learn how to evaluate and integrate them into your projects.

We’ll also build real landing pages in Drupal Canvas from scratch, then learn how content templates can save editors time and enforce consistency across your site.

Who Should Attend
